Quran Burning   Previous   Next    9/7/2010 8:03 PM    Hale Joined: 7/22/2008 Posts: 1 Quran Burning  An open letter to the Honorable Eric Holder: Mr Holder, I want to urge you in the strongest possible terms to prosecutePastor Terry Jones of the Dove World Outreach Center if he insists on going through with his planned burning of the Quran. Certainly this act rises to the level of ahate crime! Also as Gen. David Petraeus warned "images of the burning of a Quran would undoubtedly be used by extremists in Afghanistan — and around the world — to inflame public opinion and incite violence." This would put American soldiers in undue harms way. Perhaps this is also a treasonous act. If so Terry Jones should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Mr. Jones has the right to his opinions as well as his right to free speech, but he also has to live with the consequences of his actions. Mr. Holder please let the world know that we the American People are not all like Mr. Jones. That we are better than that.
